1. You are how you live.

I am a guitarist, because I learn and practice guitar.
I am a musician because I write and perform music.
I am a fighter, because I train, and I fight.

If I don’t live these things, I cannot be these things.

You can only be brave, by facing fear.
You can only be trustworthy, by earning trust.
You can only be a good person, by doing good things.

Embrace who you are, by living as who you mean to be.

  2. Tetris

While playing tetris, a realized something.

I’ve always known that organization and strategy are incredible things that can take you very far.  It’s important to put things in the “right place”.

But as I played, and things moved faster, I noticed, that sometimes it’s just important to fit things into “any place”.  Planning and arranging is a means to an end, not the end goal.  Sometimes it is much more efficient to go on ones gut reaction, and survive with many small successes rather than push for the dangerously improbable larger success as more challenges push forward.

Balance is not a thing you get, but rather a state you work to maintain.  Knowing when to plan, and when to act is key to success, however you view it.
